Whether you want to lean out, fuel up for muscle growth, or just keep things steady, setting a target simplifies the "what should I eat" question into a clear daily number. It’s a fun, friendly way to stay in control of your journey.

How to use Calorie Targeting

  1. Open the Nutrition tab: Tap the apple icon in the bottom navigation to see your daily dashboard.
  2. Tap Set Goals: You'll find this button right at the top, just above your progress charts.
  3. Choose your adjustment: Enter the number of calories you want to add or subtract from your daily maintenance level.
  4. Toggle Deficit or Surplus: Tap the button to switch between losing weight (Deficit) or gaining weight (Surplus).
  5. Adjust your Macros: Enter your goal percentages for Protein, Carbs, and Fat until they add up to exactly 100%.
  6. Save your progress: Hit the save button to lock in your new targets and update your daily energy card.

If you're just starting out, try a deficit of 250 calories. It’s the sweet spot for losing fat while still having plenty of energy to crush your workouts without feeling like a grumpy bear!
