Manual Entry & Editing

While our AI is pretty brilliant, sometimes you have the exact facts from a package or a favorite recipe and want to be precise. Manual Entry and Editing give you the power to adjust every gram and calorie. It’s the perfect fallback for when you want to look under the hood and make sure your data is exactly how you want it.

How to use Manual Entry

  1. Tap the Log Food card: Start on your Nutrition tab like you normally would.
  2. Select Enter Manually: Scroll down and tap the manual entry button to skip the AI analysis.
  3. Name your food: Give your entry a clear name so you can find it later in your history.
  4. Input your macros: Enter the grams for Protein, Carbs, and Fat. You'll see the total calories update in real-time.
  5. Save your entry: Hit the save button to add it directly to your log.

How to Edit Existing Logs

  1. Tap any meal card: Open the details for any food entry already in your daily log.
  2. Adjust the fields: Tap on the name, macros, or even the notes to change them on the fly.
  3. Change the time: If you forgot to log lunch until dinner time, you can easily adjust the timestamp to keep your history accurate.
  4. Save changes: Your updates are saved instantly, so you can get back to your day.

Want to move a meal to yesterday? You can edit the date and time of any entry to make sure your streaks stay alive, even if you’re a little late to the logging party.
