Instead of hunting through endless food databases, you can just tell the app what you ate in plain English. Our AI handles the "why" and the "how much," keeping your experience simple and upbeat.

How to use Text-Only Logging

  1. Tap the Log Food card: Head to your Nutrition tab and tap the main logging area.
  2. Describe your meal: Skip the camera and go straight to the text box. Be as descriptive as you like—"a big bowl of turkey chili with a dollop of Greek yogurt" works perfectly!
  3. Mention the details: Adding info about cooking methods or approximate sizes (like "the size of my palm") helps the AI give you its best estimate.
  4. Analyze and Review: Tap the button to see the AI's breakdown of your meal's macros and calories.
  5. Confirm your log: If everything looks good, hit confirm to lock it into your daily history.

The AI is surprisingly good at "vague" descriptions, but it loves context. Mentioning if a meal was "homemade" vs "from a restaurant" can help it refine its calorie guess!
