The scale tells you how much you weigh, but Body Fat Calculation tells you what you're made of! We use the science-backed U.S. Navy method to estimate your body fat percentage, giving you a clearer view of your transformation. While there’s some advanced math happening behind the scenes, your experience is kept simple and approachable, helping you focus on building a healthier, stronger body.

How to calculate Body Fat

To see your Body Fat Trend, you’ll need to log a few key measurements in the Progress tab:

  1. Neck: Measure around the narrowest part of your neck, just below the Adam's apple for the guys.
  2. Waist: Measure around your navel (men) or the narrowest part of your torso (women).
  3. Hips (Women only): Measure around the widest part of your hips to ensure a precise estimate.
  4. Height: Make sure your height is set correctly in your profile settings.

Once you’ve logged these, your Body Fat Trend chart will automatically spring to life!

Precision matters! For the best results, use a flexible measuring tape and keep it snug against your skin, but not so tight that it pinches.

Why track Body Fat?

Weight alone can be misleading—you can lose fat and gain muscle while the scale stays exactly the same. Tracking body fat is an educational way to see the "why" behind your body's changes. It supports your journey by showing you the progress you’re making in body composition, which is often more important for long-term health and looking your best than just "losing weight."
