Discover exactly how much energy your unique body actually burns! Our AI analyzes your weight trends and calorie intake over time to calculate your personal Daily Energy. While there’s some advanced science whirring away behind the scenes, we keep the experience simple and approachable, helping you understand the "why" behind your calorie needs.

How to use Daily Energy Calculation

  1. Tap the Nutrition tab: Head to the apple icon in your bottom navigation bar.
  2. Open Daily Energy: Tap the Daily Energy button at the top of the dashboard.
  3. View your trend: Check the Weight Trend chart to see how your weight has shifted. The solid line represents your smoothed trend—the key to the math!
  4. Review your intake: See your Average Daily Calories and your macro breakdown for the analysis period.
  5. See the result: Scroll down to the Daily Energy section to see exactly how your intake and weight change were used to find your maintenance calories.

We need at least a 14-day streak of consistent food and weight logging to provide an accurate Daily Energy calculation. If you see a progress bar instead of the button, keep up the great work and keep logging!
